Chocolate Smoothie from Heaven
This smoothie is really a chocolate milkshake in disguise. No joke, this is the answer to my chocolate/dessert hankering. Free of sugar, artificial sweeteners, and just general junk, this sweetie can stand-in as a meal. It has a whopping 12 grams of fiber and 24 grams of protein. (This recipe uses OIKOS Zero vanilla greek yogurt, and I'm shamelessly crushing on this stuff.) But I'm really sharing this because hubby and I were fighting over who gets to lick the container.
Ingredients:
1 frozen banana, cut into chunks
6 frozen sweet cherries
6 oz. OIKOS Zero Vanilla Yogurt (can use silken tofu, if you're a vegan)
1 TB PB2, Peanut Butter Chocolate
3 TB Hershey's Unsweetened Cocoa
1 cup unsweetened almond milk
Directions:
1. Add fruit, chocolate, PB2, yogurt, and almond milk to blender (in that order works best--otherwise you end up with a chocolate dust storm in your blender).
2. Blend until smooth.
